Dr. Alice Wong is the Conservative Party candidate in the British Columbia riding of Richmond.

A PhD graduate of the University of British Columbia in Curriculum and Instruction, Dr. Wong is also a successful businesswoman.

With her husband, she manages the family business in food services and also operates a research and education-consulting firm which provides services to a wide range of domestic and international clients.

Dr. Wong is also a teacher of English as a second language, with a Diploma in the Teaching of English Overseas through the University of Leeds, England.

Multi-lingual in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Swatow (Chi Chow) and Haka, she has managed projects in the United Kingdom, Malaysia, India, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China.

Dr. Wong has more than 13 years of experience in international education, working as an International Program and Project Manager, Coordinator, Trainer and Curriculum designer.

She was elected to represent the Conservative Party of Canada in the Richmond constituency at a nominating meeting held on March 14, 2004.
