Cassidyne-Hook, Michael

British Columbia, Kelowna, Canadian Action Party

Michael grew up in the beautiful Okangan Valley. He graduated with honors from Penticton High School before moving to Kelowna to attend and subsequently graduate from Okanagan University College with a UBC Bachelor of Arts degree and major in political science.

Since returning to the Okanagan Valley after a number of years living in Victoria and attending the University of Victoria in the Master's degree program for political science, Michael became a public health educator in Kelowna, lecturing among other things on the human immune system and infectious disease prevention. Michael was also for a time, the President of the Community Against Sexual Exploitation of Youth Society. At around the same time, Michael also did extensive research and reading on the Canadian monetary system, and became convinced of the necessity for monetary reform.

In 2003 Michael translated, wrote, and published a metaphysical book, which formed the basis of his publishing company (see: http://publish.pro-image-design.com ) which has now produced a total of 3 unique books, which are being distributed and sold throughout Western Canada.

Michael has decided to become a CAP candidate because of his strong conviction that Canada retain its status as an independent nation-state, and not slide helplessly into absorption by the United States and the agenda of the global corporate and financial elite.
