Dodd, Kevin

Alberta, Medicine Hat, Green Party of Canada
Kevin Dodd is a longtime resident of the Medicine Hat area. He is also a graduate of Medicine Hat College in the Business Administration program. Working in the publishing industry has given him insight into the history of the people of Medicine Hat area. The burdens and pressures of people in history define the world we live in today. With the advent of technology, such as communications, transportation and mass food production, needs of yesterday are met today. However, unforeseen problems have developed through fulfilling these needs, such as pollution, congestion and social inequalities. Kevin is working with the Green Party to create awareness of solutions to these problems that face all Canadians. "I have spent time working with sustainable housing. I have assisted in completing several self-contained homes throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan. I have extensive knowledge in solar energy, water conservation, composting technologies and improved energy efficiency in the home. These homes are designed and constructed to be longer lasting and with lower input costs, compared to conventional housing construction." “As a consultant, I am currently involved with perma-cultural design regarding self-contained homes and food production. As a candidate for the Green Party I look forward to working with others in changing legislation for the benefit of Earth and Humanity."
