Kevin Sorenson is the sitting Member of Parliament for the Alberta constituency of Crowfoot.
Born in Killam, Alberta, Ken was first elected to Parliament in 2000 as a member of the Canadian Alliance. He is the owner of a small auction company and is a farmer.
Ken is the Official Opposition Senior Critic for the Solicitor General portfolio.
Before being elected to the House of Commons he served as Vice President of the Crowfoot Riding Association and also served as Director of the Saskatoon-Clark Crossing Committee and Director of the Vegreville Constituency.
Ken is married with two children, Kristen and Ryan.
In addition to his Parliamentary duties as Solicitor General critic, Ken also serves on several Commons committees.
He is Vice-Chair of the Sub-Committee on National Security of the Standing Committee of Justice and Human Rights and a member of the Special Committee on the non-medical use of drugs.
