Mr. Komarnicki is a 54-year-old lawyer who graduated from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law in 1973.
He has pursued a career in the general practice of Law in the community of Estevan and surrounding area for over thirty years. He presently is the senior partner in the firm Komarnicki Trobert.
Mr. Komarnicki carries on a varied practice including in the areas of real estate, corporate law, estates and commercial transactions.
A comprehensive background in various areas of law including trial and appellate work has enabled him to develop strong skills in advocacy, communication, inter-personal relations and extended insight into areas of Legislation that need urgent attention.
He has served as a Bencher of the Law society of Saskatchewan from 1999 to December 2003. In that capacity, he has served as Chair of Professional Standards, Equity Diversity and Legislation and Policy Committees, and has been the Vice Chair of the Discipline Committee.
He has been involved in his community in various capacities including:
· Chair of the Saskatchewan Summer Games in Estevan
· Progressive Conservative nomination and Campaign Chair in the federal riding of Souris-Moose Mountain. He has been a member of both the Progressive Conservative and Canadian Alliance Parties.
· Director and President of various boards
Recognized for his hard work ethic, focus and commitment to his job Ed is also know for the love and dedication he has for his family. Married to his wife Sally for thirty-two years. Together they have raised eight children and enjoy four grandchildren.
