Raj Joshi is educated, principled, articulate and passionate about his community. He has the experience, determination, and intelligence to be a strong, effective Member of Parliament for Winnipeg South Centre.

Raj was born and raised in Winnipeg South Centre and currently resides in Osborne Village. He has a sound understanding of national issues and a vision for greater prosperity for his fellow Canadians.

Raj¡¯s education in engineering, business and international development, have given him the opportunity to live and work in many parts of Canada and the world. This international business experience gives Raj a unique ability to support our local and national businesses in their efforts to expand exports ¨C expansion which drives employment and income growth. He is an advocate of measures that will enhance Canada¡¯s place in the world, both economically and politically.

Raj believes in progressive policies which will grow our nation's economic base ¨C lower taxes, balanced budgets, debt repayment and responsible government rooted in democratic institutions. He believes strongly in Medicare - that every Canadian has the right to reliable access to government funded medical health care.

Raj also favours measures which strengthen traditional institutions and build on the historical values that have made Canada great. Responsibility, accountability, and commitment to his fellow citizens are the qualities Raj will bring as Winnipeg South Centre¡¯s Member of Parliament.
