Jane was raised in Portage la Prairie and she graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Education. She is presently working on a Masters degree in ESL Teacher Training (English as a Second Language) at Providence College.
Jane has worked in the field of education for twenty years. She has worked with industry, business and government to train ESL employees in English. Her responsibilities have included developing, promoting, and/or presenting eighty-hour ESL courses for professionals, and courses to enhance business communication and technology skills. Jane served as a school board trustee for Charleswood/Tuxedo for sixteen years. She also served as a Table Officer on the Manitoba Association of School Trustees executive.
Jane is strongly connected to her Christian faith; she serves in her local church and hosts a weekly prayer meeting in her home. She knows and understands that our National freedom is directly linked with our obedience to God. If we are to continue to enjoy freedom in Canada, then Christians must speak up and speak the truth into families, into education and into government.
Jane has three children who are all serving the Lord, the eldest of which is in full-time ministry. She has four grand-children who are being nurtured in Christian homes.
Jane is excited about her candidacy for CHP in Winnipeg South. With great enthusiasm and energy she looks forward to serving God and representing the Christian Heritage Party in this Federal election.
