A life-long Liberal, Peter Epp decided to return to Manitoba to serve the people of Provencher as Liberal candidate.
After completing his B.A. at the University of Manitoba, Peter went to law school at the University of British Columbia, taking a semester at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He graduated in 1993.
After law school he returned to Manitoba and practised corporate, commercial and real estate law at a large law firm.
In 1997 he was offered a position at the New York office of Linklaters, one of the world’s leading law firms. There, he practised international finance and corporate law.
In 1998, Peter accepted a one-year Special Appointment at the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the World Bank) in Washington, DC where he focused on international development financing matters. He then worked for several years in both the Washington, DC and London, UK offices of Linklaters.
After years of gathering new and unique experiences and perspectives abroad, Peter realized that his heart and interests lay elsewhere – with his family and friends in Canada.
Peter is the second oldest of five children.
