Terry Duguid has been a resident of the Kildonan area for more than 20 years. He served on city council from 1989 to 1995, and was a member of the Executive Policy Committee from 1991 to 1995 and chair of the Public Works Committee from 1991 to 1995.
Mr. Duguid has also served as Co-Chair of the Task Force of the International Centre for Infectious Disease, and was Chair of the Clean Environment Commission. He was also President and CEO of the Gateway North Marketing Agency, and Executive Director of the Mid-Continent International Trade Corridor Task Force.
As Executive Director of the Manitoba Climate Change Task Force, he worked with Lloyd Axworthy to develop a climate change strategy for Manitoba. He also served on the Manitoba Environment Council and was the Manitoba represenatative of the National Round Table on the environment and the Economy.
He earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biology, and a Master of Environmental Science.
Mr. Duguid is an active member of his community, volunteering for the Bunn’s Creek area Citizens on Patrol Program, and the East St. Paul “Little Rocks” Junior Curling Program.
He is married to Linda and has two daughters, Molly and Nora.
