Loftus Cuddy is the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) candidate for the Ontario riding of Toronto-Danforth.
A lawyer, Loftus’ practice for the last 15 years has been representing working class people. He has seen through several lengthy cases pro bono because of their social policy implications. Initially in his law career, he worked in defence insurance litigation for a year but chose to switch to the plaintiff’s side.
Loftus has a Bachelor of Arts and a L.L.B from the University of Toronto. To support his education he worked at a downtown hotel.
Loftus has been active in a range of community organizations, including the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Royal Canadian Legion, the Holocaust Education Week Committee, St. Stephen’s Community House, and the Toronto Youth Symphony.
With his wife Ellen, a corporate communicator, Loftus lives in East York.
