Heather Jewell is the candidate of the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) in the Ontario constituency of Scarborough Southwest.

Heather grew up in Scarborough and Toronto and has been politically active in Conservative Party politics since her youth.

She comes by the desire to politically participate naturally. Her father ran against Liberal Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson in the riding of Algoma East in 1963, the year before she was born.

She has been an active board member of the Scarborough Southwest Conservative Riding Association since 2001.

Heather has been involved in several high-profile political campaigns including those of Roy McMurtry, Peter Worthington, David Crombie and recently John Tory’s bid for Mayor of Toronto.

A B.A., majoring in Psychology degree from York University, Heather manages the Condition of Broadcast Licence Closed Captioning Department at Alliance Atlantis. She is married to Tom Rudman, a Scarborough-born artist/art director.
