Born in 1949 and grew up in Sarnia-Lambton
Married to Sylvia for 31 years. They have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
1969 - Graduated from Ridgetown College of Agriculture and Technology, Farmed in Plympton-Wyoming.
Since 1977. Worked for the St.Clair Parkway Commission, the City of Sarnia, and the United Breeders Inc.
Active in federal and provincial politics since 1985.
President of the Family Coalition Party of Ontario from 1993-95.
1991 to 2000 - Member of council for Township of Plympton, Member of council for Town of Plympton-Wyoming until 2003.
Served 9 years as chair of the Parks Board. Member of the Plympton Water Committee.
Member of the Wyoming Water Committee.
Member of Lambton Farm Safety Committee.
Serving as Elder of Covenant Christian Church in Wyoming.
As a charter member of the Lambton-Kent-Middlesex riding, Gary had the pleasure of directing the inaugural election campaign for the CHP in that riding, acting as the Campaign Manager for John Koster.
