James Jackson is the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) candidate for the Ontario constituency of Peterborough
Born and educated in Peterborough, Peter is the sixth generation of an early pioneer family that settled in the Peterborough area on Lily Lake Road West in 1819.
Currently Chair of the Peterborough and the Kawarthas Tourism Board, James is a successful businessman with interests in tourism-oriented properties.
He has served as Vice President on the Northumberland Tourism Advisory Council and Vice President of the Campbellford-Seymour Chamber of Commerce.
Semi-retired with his wife Joanne and two teenage children, Chanta and Jessie, he is a resident of Peterborough.
