A life-long resident of Hamilton, Tom Jackson is the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) candidate in the Peterborough, Ontario, constituency.

A graduate of Ridgemount and Cardinal Heights elementary schools, Tom graduated from Westmount High School and has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from McMaster University—Honours Political Science.

Tom has served in municipal politics as a member of the Hamilton City Council since 1988.

Married to Barbara, Tom is a past employee of Stelco Hilton Works, Production Planning Department.

He speaks Armenian and Russian.

As a member of City Council, Tom serves on a number of committees, boards and commissions.

Among them are the Municipal Non-profit Housing Corporation, the Hamilton SPCA, the Seniors Advisory Committee, the Social and Public Health Sciences Committee and the Selection Committee to Appoint our Volunteer Citizens.
