Jacques Parenteau is an engineer who has been with Hydro-Québec for the past 28 years. He has also taught public speaking for the firm of Dale Carnegie.
Mr. Parenteau has three children. He is a dynamic individual who has been involved in his community for many years. He was a candidate in the Chambly municipal elections in 1999 and 2003, and was the Progressive-Conservative candidate in the Chambly riding during the 1997 and 2000 federal elections. He also worked on the “no” side during the 1995 Quebec referendum, giving training courses to no activists.
Mr. Parenteau is very involved in the community. He was the Director of a pre-school and the Chairman and Director of parent committees.
