An experienced professional in automobile sales, Michel Fecteau has been the sales director for Déry-Toyota since 1989. He is responsible for business management, administration of publicity, and marketing service. He also supervises all the company’s legal documents.
Previously, he was the owner of Autos 104, an automobile wholesale company specializing in the sale and exporting of vehicles to the United States and Europe. He was also co-owner of Machinerie MJC.
In his work, Mr. Fecteau has taken the opportunity to develop his knowledge in the area of management, particularly through the Toyota Leadership University and the General Motors Quebec automobile training centre.
In addition to being first vice-president of the Haut-Richelieu Chamber of Commerce, he is also a member of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a representative of the CCHR (Haut-Richelieu Chamber of Commerce) for the Québec-New York committee, and a CCHR representative with the Quebec Chamber of Commerce. He is also president of the Saint-Luc CADO.
Mr. Fecteau is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Canadian Legion, and is very involved in the work of the Lions Club. In 2001, he was awarded the presidential medal of the International Association of Lions Clubs for the work and exemplary leadership he has shown over the past fifteen years for helping the disadvantaged.
Mr. Fecteau has been active in politics since the age of 17. He is married to Denise Soutière and they have two children..
