Marc Savard was born on October 7, 1970. In 1993, he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce at Concordia University. In 1997, he obtained a degree in civil law from the University of Ottawa and was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1998. While studying law, he also took courses at the Canadian Securities Institute.
From 1997 to 2002, he worked with well-known law firms such as Fasken Martineau and Desjardins Ducharme Stein Monast, specializing in business law, financing, and real estate.
Since 2002, Mr. Savard has served as a project coordinator and legal consultant for the Montreal Internationaux du sport.
A fervent hockey fan, Mr. Savard is a governor of the Rocket de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard hockey club.
He and his spouse Mélanie Charbonneau have one child.
