Christine Saint-Pierre has a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Concordia University.
In 1986, she began her career as a promoter of cultural events with the Victoriaville Contemporary Music Festival. She went on from there to promote and coordinate special events for a number of organizations.
She subsequently moved into the area of marketing. In 1997 she joined Planimage Inc. as a project leader. Her skills were soon recognized and various promotions followed. She became Marketing Director, Executive Director, and eventually Vice-President. Since August 2002, Ms. Saint-Pierre has been working for Vic Mobilier de Magasins Ltée where she is Vice-President for Sales and Marketing.
Ms. Saint-Pierre is a member of a number of associations such as the Exporters Club, the Bois-Francs Chamber of Commerce, and the Bois-Francs Association of Young Businesspeople.
She is also recognized for her community work. She is President of the MRC Arthabaska Red Cross and a member of the territorial board for Quebec, a member of the board of the Bois-Francs Hospital Centre and also a volunteer with other associations.
In keeping with her commitment to ensure the well-being of her fellow citizens, Ms. Saint-Pierre decided to join Paul Martin’s team and to stand as the Liberal candidate for the riding of Richmond-Arthabaska.
