Proulx, Daniel

Quebec, Richelieu, Conservative Party of Canada

Daniel A. Proulx is a seasoned manager and administrator. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Université de Montréal and, from 1998 to 2003, was a Director, Vice President and then President of the Chambre de commerce et d’industrie Sorel-Tracy métropolitain. He was involved in most consensus building and economic development projects in the region. He was the founding chairman of an event now known as the industrial technology fair.

As an entrepreneur, Mr. Proulx has worked with several different companies as a consultant and financial planner. He currently owns his own internet concept development company.

Mr. Proulx has been recognized by his peers for his professionalism and his work with young people. He was the recipient of the Gens de Desjardins à l’action award in 1999.

My business experience and especially my economic development experience in the region are the main reasons why I am involved in politics.

I believe that the Conservative Party offers Quebecers the best possibilities for economic development. With the Bloc, we are condemned to the opposition. The Conservative Party has a proven track record of defending Québec’s interests.
