Marc Bissonnette is a lawyer. He specializes in family, civil and insurance law. Now self-employed, he has previously worked for many renowned firms. Mr. Bissonnette was also President of several import-export companies. Additionally, he is a member of many professional associations.
Mr. Bissonnette is involved in many community and charity organizations. He is director of the Quebec Cerebral Palsy Association, and Director of the Community and Education Centre René Goupil. Mr. Bissonnette has also served as President of a NPO in social housing.
In addition, Mr. Bissonnette has served as a volunteer and Director of the Maison Père Enfant, in Quebec, and worked for many newspapers and magazines.
Marc Bissonnette has been involved in politics for years. He was candidate for the Progressive Conservative Party in the riding of Rosemont in 1997 and again in 2000. He has also been highly active at the municipal and provincial level of politics.
