Since 1996, Pierre Lafleur has been chief of staff to the mayor and executive committee of the City of Laval. He advises municipal authorities on critical issues, elected representatives at various government levels, and those in the business sector.
For more than 15 years, Mr. Lafleur served as a strategic communications in government relations and crisis management. His particular area of expertise relates to analysis and strategic planning in the area of public administration.
Mr. Lafleur has also worked in a number of ministerial offices for more than 10 years, both for the federal government and for Treasury Board in 1994.
From 1975 to 1984, he was director for the offices of the minister of the environment, minister of communications, and the Speaker of the House of Commons.
He has a degree in law from the University of Montreal.
