Bob McVicar is the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) candidate in the New Brunswick constituency of Saint John.
A local businessman and community leader, Bob is originally from Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. He has worked in the retail industry over the past 30 years as a local franchisee of two Body Shop stores.
Very involved in the community, Bob has served as President of the Saint John Board of Trade, and on the City of Saint John Preservation Review Board. Mr. McVicar has also acted as a volunteer fundraiser for the Canadian Red Cross. Bob was also the sub-committee Chair and Cabinet Member of the Saint John Business Community Anti-poverty Initiative.
Married to Sue Cairns-McVicar, the couple have three sons, Jason, Mark and Rod; one daughter MeiLing; and four grandchildren.
Both Bob and Sue have been the recipients of Saint John City awards in recognition of their community and business endeavours.
