MacDonald, Howie

An accomplished musician, Howie MacDonald has had a successful career as a performer. In addition to his ten solo albums, Howie MacDonald has recorded music with J.P Cormier, Natalie MacMaster, Ashley MacIsaac, Dave MacIsaac, The Rankin Family, and many others. Additionally, Howie has also toured extensively with the well known Rankin Family for over 10 years. Mr. MacDonald’s music has even appeared in several major motion pictures.

Howie has also become known in the comedy industry as well. Mr. MacDonald has appeared in the Cape Breton Summertime Revue, Nancy White’s Joke Box (on CBC), The Canadian Loonie (Drayton, Ontario), and in his show Howie’s Celtic Brew.

Howie has held a long-time interest with federal politics, and is excited about seeing a change in government.

He resides in Westmount with his wife Joyce, and their daughters Kristin and Jillian.
